Daily Activities Daily activities include Conversation Cafe, a place to meet Americans and speak in English and Farmer's Market, a weekly town festival with live music and good food where one can meet many people. CCLA also sponsors a wide array of social and recreational activities during the school week. Friday afternoons are reserved for traveling, sightseeing, and leisure. Activities include trips to the local international restaurants (Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Moroccan, Thai, etc.) with students and teachers; trips to any of the many beaches near school; wine tasting around our Central Coast Wine country, horseback riding, TV and radio station visits, skydiving, barbecues, miniature golf, tennis, and many other activities. Many activities are free and some cost a small fee to cover the costs of the van and the driver.

Weekend Trip There is usually one big weekend trip per term to either San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Yosemite National Park, the Grand Canyon, and other locations in the western United States. Trips to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, and other amusement parks may also be arranged as either day trips or with the big trips.
