| How to apply for admission |
- Complete application form (links left)
- Attach the non-refundable application fee of $125.00 U.S. and (if applicable) $125.00 U.S. for the homestay application fee payable to California Coast Language Academy (CCLA) by international money order or a bank’s cashier’s check.
- Include a certificate of deposit signed by an official of your bank.
- If planning to attend a college or university, please include a copy of transcripts from your high school or college. The transcript should be translated into English
- Attach a letter of recommendation from educational or business contact.

| CCLA Fees |
- Tuition for 8-week term: $1580
- Students studying for less than 8 weeks pay a weekly tuition fee of $225. per week.
- Students wishing to study for longer periods can receive a 20% discount when paying for 6 months or more (excluding agency commission fees).
- Housing: (Homestay, includes 1 meal with family and breakfast food available) $600 to $650 per month.
- Textbooks: (approx.) $60.00 to $80.00 per term

| Visa Information |
| CCLA issues a Form I-20, which is the Certificate of Eligibility for an F-1 student visa. If you would like an I-20 form sent priority mail, please include $35.00 U.S. to cover handling costs. Regular mail usually takes about two weeks. |

- Social and recreational activities are planned each month. Students can chose from many activities available in the San Luis Obispo area. One important aspect of learning English is interacting with native English speakers. CCLA arranges many opportunities to meet native English speakers. Each Friday afternoon is available for group trips to interesting sites. Locally we have beaches, lakes, golfing, fishing, boating, hiking, bicycling, shopping, Framer’s Market, and tours of Hearst Castle, the Old Mission, and many local wineries. Weekends are available for travel to Yosemite, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Mexico, and other exciting places.
