Write similarities and contrasts between my country and America
             The United States has many similarities with France. However, a few things in our culture make us being different in some points. At first, I will talk about the similarities between France and the United States. Then, I will introduce the fact that we also have some différences.

            First of all, both societies began with revolutions. The U.S. did it first, and France, subsequently, In the United States, the way of thinking is pretty similar to France. For instance, we live in a free contry, where a few things are not forbidden compared with muslims countries where women can not work or even vote sometimes. Women have the same rights as the men, and unfortunately, it is not like that everywhere in the world.

Moreover, France and the USA have way of live, which mean the capitalism system, in comparaison to other countries like Cuba for example.

In France, I have noticed a few things that we took from american culture. The fast food for example is very popular in France. Many american musicians are also very famous  in France like Michael Jackson or Black eyed peas. Even though we have some good movies in France, We used to Watch a lot of american movies and there are a few similarities in the sensé of humour and the way of making films.

            On the other hand, France has a few différences with the United States. At first the language. French and English language are different in many points.

There is also something wery important that is different between the two countries : The currency. In France, our currency is the euro, which is about 1€ = 1,35$.

 I have also noticed that american people have their meals very early compared with french people. We used to have dinner at 8.30 PM and I see a lot of people in the US who are dining at 6 PM.  Moreover, the food is very different in both countries. We eat some fine food in France like cheese, baguette, some good wine,… and we don’t used to eat things like big turkey and cheese sandwich with a lot of mayonnaise and mustard ! But in some ways, I like american food too !

Not only is the food different, but also the sports are not the same too, We watch soccer and tennis and we never Watch american football or baseball.

Finally,The shopping is very different as well In France, we used to walk on the street, from an arrea to another, and we don’t especially use our car. Here, it is almost impossible to do some shopping if you don’t have any car. There are many shopping center and in France, you will find most of the shops in the Streets.

            To conclude, i would say that France and the United States are two countries which share a lot of commun interrests and have many similarities. However, the culture can be very different  in the daily life.
